Happy July 4th, everyone!! I watched a bald eagle soar above Byers Lake!! Magnifico!

There aren't any fireworks around here, since it doesn't get dark and I live in a State Park, but that's all right with me. The other night the whole trailler shook--I thought a bear was pawing it--but came to find out the next day, it was an earthquake nearby, the second one since I arrived. Alaska sure is an "active" place.
Enjoy the fireworks, and I will enjoy a night full of light!
